Who We Are
For over 4 decades the Regina Humane Society has made a difference, one-by-one, for animals in our community. The Society was incorporated in 1964 as a non-profit organization. The current Shelter is located on Armour Road, off Highway #6 on the northern edge of the city. It has space for over 300 animals, a voluntary Board of Directors, 32 staff and over 500 active volunteers. The Society has, throughout the years, worked to improve the welfare of animals through programs and services in sheltering, education, protection and advocacy. Without those who support our mission to improve the well-being of animals in our community, we could not continue the valuable services we provide.
Adopting a friend
Adoptions take place in person at the Shelter. Those wishing to adopt an animal must fill out an adoption questionaire, and all animals adopted must be spayed or neutered (deposit required).
