We are excited to announce that we have relocated to Belle Fourche, South Dakota on November 1, 2009. Our new facility is 4000 square feet and will give us room to grow and expand. We have outgrown our previous facility and needed the extra space. We also have a retail section to help support the birds here at the center. We are open Tuesday- Saturday 10:30 - 5:30 pm

Who We Are
Black HillsParrot Welfare and Education Center is a non profit 501 (C-3) public charity dedicated to short and long term welfare of parrots and related birds. We are promoting a quality of life for companion birds through proper housing, diet and health care. Our focus is on public education, behavior research and approved adoption.
We get our funding from donations and the retail store only. Our staff members are not salaried or compensated in any matter. Most of us gladly contribute our own funds and labor to take care of these awesome birds. Please consider our organization when making your charitable contributions.
