Who We Are
AARRFF - Amazing Animals Rescued, Rehabilitated from Foster to Forever is affiliated Carolina Pet Rescue, We are a no-kill/limited entry group; we believe and support the No More Homeless Pets and spay/neuter initiatives. All animals adopted from AARRFF are spayed or neutered before being placed. We provide sanctuary and rehabilitation and, when the right home comes along, rehome needy small dogs (and others when our volunteers can't resist). We maintain a waiting list of homes and our efforts are funded solely through adoption fees and donations.

Adopting a friend
We prefer to adopt only to North and South Carolina but have had successful long distance adoptions. Much of the key is if you, as guardian, are willing to take an active role in transport of your new friend.
Please apply only by e-mail: AmazingARRFF@yahoo.com.
In the subject line, please put the name of the animal you wish to adopt, your name and your city and state.
Note: We appreciate everyone's creativity in sending applications, but due to limited e-mail space, we cannot accept file attachments. We also would prefer that you just cut and paste, because our e-mail account does not show different fonts so it is very hard to read, when you get creative in the e-mail.
If you contact AARRFF, you will receive the following e-mail asking for information. To save time, please feel free to answer these questions in your initial inquiry:
On line rescue application:
1. Please tell me your full name and where you are located, address, city/state and your phone#

7. Which animal are you interested in? If you are not interested in a specific animal please let us know what you are looking for (size/sex/age/breed/accept mix (y/n)?
8. Why are you interested in this animal? Do you understand the grooming requirements, medical requirements and general well being and care of this type of
animal? Please describe what this means to you.
Thank you for your interest in one of our pets! Many of our animals were pulled from less
than ideal circumstances and therefore we want only the best for them in their new homes.
We are as much sanctuary as shelter, and our animals are only placed when we are as
sure as we can be that the new home is the last and permanent home for this pet. In
addition, our research shows that animals and homes that are thoroughly screened and
matched make better permanent relationships between the pet and the family.
We retain the right to refuse any adoption.
You will be visited in your home by a AARRFF rescue volunteer. In addition, we do follow up
visits at one week, one month, six months and annually. We do charge adoption fees
which vary with each animal. Adoption fee's are posted on each animal's web page.
Rescue and rehabilitation efforts are funded solely through adoption fees and donations. We receive no public funds.
We do not euthanize. Once an animal has been accepted into AARRFF, it will be cared for throughout it's natural life and it is always welcome to return here. In
fact, our contract will require that you return the animal to AARRFF if you can no longer care
for him or her, no matter what the reason.
Thanks - looking forward to hearing from you.
