We have all been rescuing animals for many years. Our commitment to them and their well-being is our most important concern. We work with our local shelter to save as many as we can. We work with our Vets to make sure that the animals we place for adoption are healthy and sociable and fully vetted. We do not rush into adoptions and urge you not to either.please make a commitment to them for their whole life!!
Adopting a friend is easy, just look at the available, highly adoptable animals and if you find one that may be a good match, contact us. We will require an adoption application to be filled out and we use E-verify to make sure that bad people do not get these animals. We then check references, we may require a home visit. We will arrange a time for you to meet the pet and if all feel it is a good match you will be asked to sign an adoption contract, and pay your adoption fee which will include utd vaccines, worming, and spay/neuter and microchip, also 30 days of free pet insurance. We want to make sure this animal never ends up back in the system again and no more litters being dumped.
Currently we are a team of some caring individuals that could not sit idly by and watch our community dump these highly adoptable animals at the local shelter. We have joined together to try to help as many as possible. We also take in Lancaster county strays as space permits. We assist other Rescues by evaluating, pulling, taking to local Vet at their expense and temp. foster for up to 14 days max. while transport to their rescue is being arranged. We also pull from our local shelter for our rescue to save them from certain death. We have a few foster homes for kittens/cats and a few for dogs and puppies. We are always in need of more fosters, and donations for vetting, food and collars, etc.
We do not currently have a facility and operate out of foster homes. We can arrange a visit for you to meet an animal you may be interested in.
