Our Featured Pets are the SECOND CHANCE SENIORS . Here at Second Chance Farm, we especially love our senior rescue dogs. We will be featuring some of them this month. Our seniors range in age from 8-15 yrs. Senior dogs have so much love to give. Senior dogs are usually calmer, do less chewing, and are so loving. Most senior dogs have many good years left to spend in their new, forever home, unfortunately, they often overlooked for adoption . We are a small, family run rescue, in SC about 35 miles south of Charlotte, NC. We believe that all of our dogs are part of our family, and treat them as such. We are always glad to accept applications from those who can provide a safe and loving home for our angels. We do have very strict adoption policies. We do a background check, check references, and do a home visit. We also require that an adoption contract be signed. Dogs are only seen when an appointment is scheduled in advance.
Our angels are all current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed/neutered, current on heartworm meds, and flea control. We feel strongly that spay/neuter is the only solution to the problem of pet over population.
To start the adoption process, send us an e-mail, we will gladly send you an adoption application. If you would like for us to call you, just leave us your phone #. After you have filled out the application, return it to us. We will review it, check your references, arrange the home visit, and notify you if the application is approved. There is a nominal adoption fee to offset medical expenses for spay/neuter, treatments, and other veterinary care.
