Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and 45 days of health insurance coverage for the kitty. All kitties have been treated for fleas, wormed, and are current on all vaccinations. Adopt a cat or kitten! You can make a difference

We can all do this working together. If each one of us takes a few small steps, it can be done. Even if you cannot adopt a kitten or cat right now, you can still help!

Make sure you cats and kittens are spayed and neutered

Encourage your friends and family to spay and neuter their pets

Stay aware of low-cost spay/neuter programs like those at Animal Allies and Greenville Humane Society. Use them! If you have a friend who had an unaltered pet, offer to have that pet altered for them - it is an inexpensive gift that keeps on giving the gift of life to other animals year after year!

Email our newsletter and list of pets to friends, family members, and colleagues. Often our adoptable kitties find homes that way!

Offer to foster just one cat - just one cat at a time makes a difference - especially to that kitty!

As the economy worsens, LISTEN! If you have a friend who has to take an animal to the shelter because of financial reasons, contact us. We may be able to help you find resources for cat food and vet care. Let's keep these animals from going to the shelter!

    About KitsNKats Rescue

    KitsNKats Rescue brings over 30 years of experience rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens in Upstate South Carolina. We do not have a physical shelter, but instead rely upon a network of experience foster homes who can give our cats the one on one attention they need.

    We believe that this one-on-one attention to each individual cat and kitten allows us to not only ensure that you are adopting a healthy cat, but also allows us to get to know each cat and kitten and to be able to help you select one with the appropriate personality for your lifestyle.

    Our kitties are often pulled from the euthanasia floor of local shelters.

    Requirements for adoption

    We only adopt to indoor homes.

    We require an application and vet reference. If you do not currently have a vet, then we will accept personal references as well.

    Our adoption fees begin at $85. This includes rabies shot, spay/neuter, immunizations, and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing.

    All of our kitties are current on all vaccines including rabies. and have been tested and confirmed negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

    All cats and kittens are microchipped and registered in a national registry through 24PetWatch.com.

    We are happy to provide all cats and kittens with 30 days of health insurance through ShelterCare.

    How can you help?

    KitsNKats Rescue Inc is incorporated in the state of South Carolina as a Not For Profit Corporation. We are an all-volunteer organization. 100% of every dollar we take in goes back into animal rescue.

    We are always in need of the following:

  • Baby blankets and fleece blankets
  • Litter boxes and bags of litter
  • Iams cat food and kitten food
  • Cat toys

    Sponsor a Kitty!

    With kitten season fast approaching, there are several ways in which you help us save the lives of the many kittens and cats who will end up in local shelters this spring.

  • Foster a pregnant cat, a mama cat with babies, or even an adult cat. It's really sad when we see the rescue coordinators working very hard to place these beautiful cats and kittens and we have to say no because we simply do not have any space for the cat. It is heartbreaking to see these healthy and loving creatures put to death when a few months from now we would be able to find them homes easily. Can you foster these for a few weeks or months?
  • Sponsor a cat's preadoption medical workup. Your donation of $60 will pay for a female cat or kitten's entire preadoption medical workup. $40 will pay for a male cat or kitten's preadoption medical workup.
  • Support operational expenses. Your donation can help pay for food, litter, and medical care for our cats.
