Please DO NOT call the Cherokee County Animal Shelter about animal adoptions. Please contact us instead. The people at the shelter have no idea where the animals are once they leave the shelter. Saving Gaffney Pets Rescue is located in Gaffney, S.C. We rescue pets from the Cherokee County Consolidated Shelter located at 300 Yale Street in Gaffney, SC 29340. We transport our animals to other rescues all over the United States to places such as New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Michigan, Rhode Island and lots of areas in between. The Cherokee County Consolidated Shelter is a very high kill shelter so it is very important to us to rescue as many as possible. All of our pets are spayed/neutered and given current shots before going to their forever homes. Please adopt one of our wonderful fur babies and give them a chance at life by bringing them into your heart and into your home.
