The 2008 Bone-E-Fit was a great success!! We raised $126,910 for our new building!! This year's Bone-E-Fit was held on May 7, 2009. It was a lot of fun!! We aren't sure exactly how much we rasied this year but we'll let you know as soon as we do!!
Who We Are
Florence Area Humane Society (FAHS) is a non-profit organization serving the Florence, SC area devoted to prevention of cruelty and public education about pet overpopulation. We have an ample selection of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. All animals are up to date with their shots and worming. (Excluding rabies vaccinations) When age appropriate, all animals are heartworm tested.

Adopting a friend
Adoption fees are as follows:
Spayed/Neutered Dogs/Puppies - $80
Dogs/Puppies - $40
Spayed/Neutered Cats/Kittens - $60
Cats/Kittens - $30
Your adoption includes a companion that is up-to-date on vaccines and de-wormer, a $25 coupon for spay/neuter of your companion, and a starter kit with coupons and samples. Any animals that are not already spayed/neutered are required by law to be spayed/neutered by their 6 month birthday or within 30 days of adoption.

We are located on Stockade Drive. Travelling south on Irby St., turn LEFT on Cherokee Rd., cross over the railroad tracks and continue straight. You will cross over Church Street and approach 2 cemeteries, one on the left and one on the right. Immediately after the last cemetery on the right you will see our sign on the right.
