Who We Are
Wescott Acres Pet Rescue is a small, volunteer run rescue operating at Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort in the Irmo area of South Carolina. Our purpose is to assist in the placement and adoption of unwanted pets, to educate those we encounter on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and to ensure that each pet who comes into our care is given the highest quaility care and adopted into a loving home to be treated as a companion. VOLUNTEER: We welcome new volunteers, so email CamChapp@bellsouth.net if you'd like to get involved. We hold an adoption event every other Saturday at the Petsmart on Harbison Blvd. in Columbia. Meeting/Adopting a friend
We welcome you to stop by the resort during normal operating hours to meet the awesome pets we have awaiting adoption. To ensure someone will have time to show you our adoptable pets, it is best to have a rescue volunteer present. So, email Lprovence@sc.rr.com or Camchapp@bellsouth,net and we'll make sure someone is available to meet with you. Each Sunday, from 4-6PM, we have a volunteer on site to assist you, so stopping by then is always welcome. To adopt a new friend from Wescott Acres Pet Rescue, you must complete an application and be interviewed. We want to ensure our pets are all adopted into secure, loving homes where they will be valued companions and treated like family members. References will be checked prior to all adoptions. All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort is located at 6005 Wescott Rd. Columbia SC 29212 The resort is in the St. Andrews/Irmo area, next door to Irmo Middle School. Wescott Acres is a Luxury Pet Resort. We are is happy to assist you with all of your pets boarding and grooming needs. Hours: Mon-Sat 8:00AM-6:00PM and Sunday 4:00-6:00PM
