Thousands of years ago, we humans formed a covenant with our companion animals. We wanted them to live with us and to share our lives. Because of this our 'pets' lost most of their natural skills to fend for themselves. It then became our responsibility to feed and care for them. While the animals have kept their end of the bargain, we humans largely have not. CatFlowers is trying, in our small way, to make amends. We believe that all animals deserve to be treated humanely and with respect. Each and every one of us can make a difference and help to keep our ancient promise to the animals.
CATFLOWERS seeks to positively impact the lives of animals with a firm commitment to TNR, spay/neuter, no kill, no cage, no chains, no declaw, no time limits, and permanent, indoor only adoptions.

WHAT IS A CATFLOWER?
CatFlowers is an all volunteer, no-kill animal advocacy group. Founded in 1998, the primary emphasis was outside cats and TNR. Today, the organization has grown to include TNR, tireless volunteers, membership, newsletter, educational programs, fund raising, spay/neuter assistance, foster homes and adoption programs for cats and dogs, and much more.
A CATFLOWER is a rescued cat who has a flower name.
CatFlowers is a registered SC non-profit organization, in the process of obtaining 501c3 status.

CatFlowers treats every homeless, discarded, abandoned animal as though it were our personal beloved family member. Our "Gold" standard of care includes FL/FIV testing for cats, HW testing for dogs, wellness exams, medical care, spay or neuter, vaccinations, micro chipping, loving fosters, and careful adoptions. We are purr-snickety and prr-oud of it!
