The rescue program at our clinic has only been open for a couple of months now, but since we have opened we saved alot of animals from being put to sleep. We would like to thanks all the people who have adopted these animals and most of all we would like to thank the staff of Sandhills Animals Hospital for all their hard work and dedication to saving these animals. We would really like to send a personal thanks to our veterinarian, Dr.Bethany Tapp, whose kindness and good heart has enable the clinic to start this rescue and save these animals.
Who We Are
Employees of Sandhills Animal Hospital are helping out our local shelter by taking in some of the many animals that they have. We test the dogs for heartworms and the cats for feline aids and leuk. We spay and neuter the animals as well as vaccinate them against disease. We then place these animals up for adoption in hopes that they will find a forever and loving home. These animals are saved from possible death since the local shelter is a high kill shelter. We are trying to do our part to help these animals and our hope is that you will do your part and give them a home.
Adopting a friend
The adoption process startes by of course you choosing the animal that you are interested in adopting. Then we urge you to come to the clinic and visit with the pet and get to know each other. If this is the pet for you then there is a little bit of paperwork to fill out, an adoption fee of $65.00 for all animals, and then it is time for you to take your new pet home.
