Who We Are
We are a South Carolina non-profit that specializes in wildlife. However, from time to time we do end up with a domestic animal in need of placement (when the local rescues in the area are unable to take anymore animals in.) Unfortunately, we are unable to assist the public with finding homes for their pets since our focus is wildlife.
Adopting a friend
We take our adoptions very seriously. So please do not be offended if we ask you to fill out an application. The animals rehabilitated by PAWS, Inc. are in dire need and have been found on the road in poor condition. If they are listed here, then that means we have been unable to find assistance for them with the local domestic rescues (many of whom are full and cannot help). So we treat them with extra care when looking for a forever home for them. If you are serious about finding the right 'furred family member' then we will be happy to work with you..
