We need help with the rent!! With the economy the way it is, less and less people are helping to support charities, while understandable it does put quite a large strain on us. Please, if you can help let us know - we need rent money so we can keep a roof over the babies heads. Ideally if you know of any businesses or individuals that would like to set up a monthly donation, even a one time go. We can supply tax receipts and can take credit cards - just give us a call or email! Thanks for checking us out! Of course we can always use animal supplies and food and household items and furniture that can be sold in our resale store.

This month's featured pet is Midnight!!! This beautiful girl was dumped at a local children's center. She definitely has some Persian in there somewhere because of all that hair. She does not have the squashed in Persian nose that always causes the breathing problems and the runny yucky eyes - she is the perfect Persian!! She is a sweet girl but like any girl she has a prissy, beautiful girl attitude - just like all us ladies!! She is sweet and affectionate and will walk away to groom herself when she is done getting showered with your affection! She has tested FeLV/FIV negative and is up to date with vaccines, flea and heartworm preventative and has been spayed. She is about 2 years old and will truly make a wonderful pet for someone - is it you? We are back into Petsmart at the end of September - Hooray!! We are on a rotating schedule with a few different local rescue groups so we are only in Petsmart every 4-8 weeks. Unlike some of the other rescue groups, we do not have an adoption center yet but we are working on that so we do not have to rely soley on Petsmart to make our wonderful kitties available for adoption! Please stop by our Myrtle Beach area Petsmart and lend us your support!!! We will let you know when we get our adoption center up and running!!

You will be asked to fill out an application, whether you do it in person, have it faxed or emailed does not matter. Once an application is received it is reviewed by our adoption committee so we can see if the pet you are interested in will work best in your home. Most often this is not a one day process. It will usually take at least a few days to process your application and review it with the committee. We take our adoptions very seriously as we are looking to place most of these animals in homes that will love and nurture and care for them for 10-15 years to come. Getting a new animal is not a spur of the moment decision and we can not and will not be able to send one home with you the same day.
