This is Cocoa, she was found in Lancaster,SC standing in the road over her 6-8 week old puppy who got hit by a car. They appeared to have been dropped off . It had been raining the last few days and they were clean with no mud and the area was all muddy. She hesitated to leave her puppy but we gave her a little food and she came home with us.
It's only been a few days and she is looking better already.
We are a cat rescue and decided to take care of her. We are asking for donations for her and for items for dogs should we run into another dog that needs help.
