TRANSPORT PROGRAM
These transports benefit homeless pets from high kill shelters, which would otherwise be euthanized if not relocated. We transport from SC and GA to NH, NY, NJ, PA and IN. On average each transport requires $700 in fuel, toll fee's, van rental and one overnight stay in a motel for our volunteer drivers.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED
We are in desperate need of foster homes. We can only help the many animals in need of re-homing, if we have foster homes available for them. We are forced to turn away many animals in need, each week, due to a lack of space.
WON'T YOU PLEASE HELP?

Who We Are
Diamond in the Ruff Rescue & Rehab, Inc is a Non Profit 501 c(3) corporation. We are a foster home based, NO KILL organization with foster homes throughout South Carolina. Only after we have received and approved your adoption application will we set up a time for you to personally meet the animal you are interested in adopting.
The pets in our care come from various sources, personal owners, animal control, strays and from high kill shelters. We provide veterinarian care for these pets, restoring them to proper health. All our foster homes provide an emotionally stimulating and happy environment for the pets in their care.
As rehabilitators we do not reject or euthanize pets that are in need of special medical treatment, training or care, because it may be too costly to treat them or an inconvenience for us. We accept many special needs cases into our program each year. Pets that are heart worm positive have genetic disorders, seniors, or deaf and blind. Providing these pets with professional medical treatment, special training, and in some cases sanctuary till the end of their lives.
We believe that an adopter should receive a healthy and emotionally well rounded pet. That is why our pets are in foster homes learning human and pet socialization. Many hours of love, medical treatment, behavioral modification, and training go into our pets. At Diamond in the Ruff Rescue & Rehab we believe that money is not the motivating factor for what we do -- animal well-being and happiness is.
We are looking for individuals who would like to have a companion pet as part of their family. People that are willing and determined to spend the needed time, love, and money in maintaining their pet's proper physical and emotional wellbeing, for life.
