Mauldin Pet Supply carries all of your "New Puppy" needs and because sales directly benefit the shelter with no paid employees, prices on most items (Midwest crates, Nylabone and Kong products, Crate Beds and much more!!) are much lower than even the national pet supply chains! Please check our website for any closings before heading in our direction, HFH is staffed with volunteers and most of us have children so things do come up!

We have now started a "weekend" foster care program! This program is fantastic, it is great for the dogs(no puppies)-especially the ones who have been here awhile. You get to pick up the dog on Saturday and return him/her on Tuesday, or if those days aren't convenient for you, we can arrange other days. Please stop by the shelter for more information!!
We are in need of crates, wire and plastic. They can be new or used, so please-before throwing them away, email us and we will send someone to pick them up or you can even drop them by the shelter! Monetary donations are always needed as we always have vet bills. CVS Gift cards are a major need as we can purchase meds and paper towels. We use Nature's Variety for all dogs/puppies in our care. Canned food of any kind is also needed! You may either mail in donations or use our PayPal link!!

We are pleased to announce that we are now using Neopar Parvo vaccine! Neopar is the only parvo vaccine available that over-rides maternal antibodies AND provides protection against BOTH strains of the canine Parvo Virus!

Senior Care Program!
We do take in alot of dogs that are too old for most families to want. We do our best to do what we can to allow for them to live out their lives, unfortunately many of them need a degree of veterinary care. Space is not an issue with these sweet seniors as they wander the shelter/store throughout the day. Please come by and meet these angelic souls. They are all available for adoption and for foster care. ANY donations towards vet bills for the "Senior Care Dogs" may be sent to our address below. Please remember that even $5.00 helps-If enough people sent in just $5.00-we could be much more productive in this effort!!
