PLEASE ADOPT HIM!!!! He is BEGGING for a home and someone to love him...give him a family, a big yard to run in, and all the love he deserves. Look into his intelligent, piercing eyes..how can you not be moved to tears that he isn't in a home yet???
God's Word, the Bible, clearly teaches that man is to be NOT ONLY KIND TO, BUT ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR, THE ANIMALS HE HAS CREATED.
God the Father's deepest desire has always been to dwell among mankind as a Father with His family ("I...will be their God, and they shall be my people." [Jer.31:33]). When God created Adam, He placed him in the Garden of Eden, and commissioned Adam "...to dress it and to keep it." [Gen. 2:15] This means that God gave Adam the charge of, or the responsibility of, taking care of, guarding, and protecting God's creation. God meant for Adam to become a matured son to Him, and to build Him a family on the earth so that God could come to dwell among them. NOW, PART OF ADAM'S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED TAKING CARE OF THE ANIMALS! The Bible says that God brought the animals unto Adam to see what he would call them [Gen. 2:19]. The Hebrew translation shows that God was actually employing Adam in the care of these animals! In fact, God made Adam responsible for His animals even before He brought forth Eve! Adam was supposed to look after, tend to, and protect God's world, as an obedient son should look after that for which his father makes him responsible. IT IS GOD-DESIGNED, NATURAL, AND INHERENT THAT MANKIND SHOULD RESPONSIBLY LOOK AFTER AND SHOW LOVE TO ANIMALS.
Of course, we all know that Adam fell and was booted from the Garden. All of mankind was from then on born into SIN. Because God is a responsible FATHER, He came to rescue us from this sinful state. He sent forth His WORD - "...the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." [John 1:14], The Father come in the form of a man, known as JESUS, The Only Begotten Son Of God [John 3:16]. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and bring salvation to any who would receive Him. But our relationship with God only BEGINS at this point! Jesus opened the doors back for us to come into full relationship with God The Father! (Remember, Jesus said, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh UNTO THE FATHER, but by me." [John 14:6]) Just as Adam was supposed to have become an obedient, fully matured son to God, and just as Jesus THE Son of God WAS (and IS) THE MOST MATURED AND TOTALLY OBEDIENT SON TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO ALWAYS DID WHAT THE FATHER WANTED, WHO ALWAYS SHOWED AND EXPRESSED THE FATHER TO THE WORLD, we are supposed to become true, obedient, and mature sons and daughters to God the Father, so we can show The Father to a dying world!
Now the Bible tells us that:
"For the EARNEST EXPECTATION OF THE CREATURE WAITETH FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD." "For the creature WAS MADE SUBJECT TO VANITY, NOT WILLINGLY..." "For we know that THE WHOLE CREATION GROANETH AND TRAVAILETH IN PAIN TOGETHER UNTIL NOW." [Romans 8:19,20,22]
There are many different words in the New Testament Greek for our word "SON", each referring to a different level of maturity. The word "SONS" here is "HUIOS", meaning the type of son who is fully matured and obedient, or the immediate kin to God the Father. (This is the word used in the Bible to refer to Jesus, The SON of God.) This is the type of son and daughter that we are to become - true sons and daughters to God! (Now, Jesus was THE Son of God - God Himself in the flesh. We are not God and never will be - but we are supposed to become as much like Him as possible, true sons and daughters to God the Father by the adoption through Jesus Christ [Gal. 4:4-7].) SO ALL OF CREATION, FROM MAN TO THE ANIMALS TO THE EARTH ITSELF, IS CRYING AND TRAVAILING, STUCK UNDER THE CURSE OF SIN. ALL CREATION YEARNS TO SEE TRUE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD - SOMEONE WHO WILL SHOW THEM THE FATHER, SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT THEM THE WAY THAT GOD WOULD TREAT THEM, SOMEONE WHO WILL BE JUST LIKE THE FATHER TO THEM!
SO THIS IS THE PLIGHT OF ALL CREATION, INCLUDING THE ANIMALS, DUE TO MAN'S REJECTION OF GOD! They are subjected to vanity - all manner of uncaring, irresponsibility, neglect, abuse, and cruelty - because of the sinful AND the unfathered state of man.
If mankind would become true sons and daughters to God the Father, then they would show forth His love, compassion, wisdom, and relationship to Him, to their fellow man, to their families, to the animals, to society, and to everything else.

Through a long process of God forming us into more obedient sons and daughters, and through a wonderful boxer named Duke that was our minister's first dog, we learned about God's burden and grief for the precious and innocent animals that He created. Eventually we felt that God wanted us to begin an Animal Rescue Division of The Father's House International.
JUST A FEW MORE VERSES TO SHOW THAT GOD CARES FOR THE ANIMALS...
"A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." [Prov. 12:10]
"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father." [Matt. 10:29]
"...thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow...and should I not spare Ninevah, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?" [Jonah 4:10,11]
"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep...the hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep." [John 10:11,13]
"Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy." [Prov. 30:8,9]
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT ANY DOGS WITHOUT PROSPECTIVE ADOPTERS GOING THROUGH OUR SCREENING PROCESS.
We require prospective adopters to do the following:
*Fill out and submit our adoption application, complete with vet and personal references, for our board to review;
*Undergo a house check by one of our staff members to ensure the safety and well-being of the pet being adopted;
*Sign a contract (which is then notarized and registered at the courthouse) stating that, at any time and for any reason, if you should surrender ownership of the pet being adopted, that YOU WILL RETURN HIM IMMEDIATELY TO THE FATHER'S HOUSE INTERNATIONAL - no one else please.
*WE ONLY ADOPT DOGS OUT TO FAMILIES WHO LIVE CLOSE BY TO NORTHWESTERN SC (SC, NC, GA, maybe TN). This is so that our animals are close by should anything go wrong, and it also encourages families to LOOK LOCALLY TO ADOPT ONE OF THE THOUSANDS OF DESPERATE, LONELY ANIMALS CRYING AT YOUR LOCAL POUND, SHELTER, OR RESCUE. They are right under your nose - why not save one of them instead of driving 300 miles to get another???
*NO DOG IS JUST AN "OUTSIDE DOG" - I hate that phrase. DOGS ARE PART OF THE FAMILY - they need to be both indoors to be with the family and outdoors to play. Don't call us if you're going to ask us for "AN OUTSIDE DOG".
*We STRONGLY prefer a fenced-in yard, although we are not entirely inflexible in the matter, depending on the home.
*We strive with all inside us to unite each dog with ONLY the God-ordained home. THIS HOME MUST LOVE, CARE FOR, CHERISH, and BE COMMITTED TO THIS DOG FOR LIFE! That means IF and WHEN your life changes (move, get married, have baby, etc.), THE DOG STAYS WITH YOU THROUGH THICK AND THIN. Anything other than that is BETRAYAL, both to God and to that animal.
*You must be able to be as good to that dog as we are...or you're not getting one from us!!!
The adoption process usually takes between 2 and 7 days.
All animals we adopt out are current on shots, spayed/neutered, heartworm free, and current on heartworm preventative. Normal adoption fees are $100.00 per dog, which helps with our ever-accumulating vet bills!
We reserve the right to call and check on any dog at any time. As you can imagine, these pets become very precious to us as we take care of them and seek the will of God for their forever home. So we love updates and photos! (Thanks to those of you who send them regularly - we surely appreciate them!)
All of these stipulations are to help secure a peaceable and loving existence for each animal being adopted.
