THIS IS MAX AND HERE IS HIS STORY!
Being one of the favorites of the volunteers and staff at Pet Tender Angels, we know that the perfect family will come along once the word is out about "Wonderful Max". Max was found as a stray in 2007 and brought to Pet Tender Angels Rescue.. He is extremely loving, mild mannered,and has a wonderful temperament. When Max is not being loved on and walked by the volunteers, he spends his time in his kennel pushing around an empty bowel. He does this for hours. We think that he is really lonely and this is how he passes the days as he waits for someone to adopt him. He is one of Pet Tender Angels favorites because of his sweet and happy personality. Max is the easiest dog to walk on a leash and loves human companionship. He likes to chase a ball and is very content to just hang out with the volunteers. So easy going and so lovable. He just wants to be at your side and share in what is happening. We all love Max and want to see him find a home. Max is a Lab/Pit Bull mix and has been at PTA for almost 2 yrs. Unfortunately, stigmas and stereotypes associated with pit bulls and pitbull mixes prevent many people from adopting this generally loving and loyal breed. Max would be great as inside companion whether in an apartment or home because he is quiet, seldom barks,and loves to walk on a leash. He also loves to ride in the car and would be perfect as an only dog. Max weighs approximately 50 pounds and is neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations. By sponsoring a dog you will be providing for their monthly care which includes flea and heartworm treatment, annual vaccinations, and daily feeding. When you sponsor a dog of your choice, your name will appear on our website above your sponsored dog's picture. In addition, we will keep you updated on your chosen dog until they are adopted. We have two levels of sponsorships Silver Sponsor $20.00 monthly. - Provides flea treatment and feeding Gold Sponsor $30.00 monthly - Provides flea and heartworm treatments, feeding and annual vaccinations. Pet Tender Angels is a rescue started by an individual who loves animals and wants to see no more homeless animals! The dogs in our rescue are off the streets. Strays, ferals, dumped....however they got there, our mission is to get them in loving homes and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering and loving care of your pets. Pets are not material objects. They are part of the family and need love just like humans do.Adopting a friend
Before adopting from us we will review an application filled out by you, check vet references or personal references, do a home visit , at which time the animal is introduced to the family members and any other animals you might have, then we make a decision based on what is best for the animal and family. Our adoptions fee is $125. 100% of this fee goes back into care for another animal that comes into our rescue.Pet Tender Angels
