Our mobile Adopt-A-Thon at Bi-Lo went great !!
A big THANK YOU to our Volunteers, Bi-Lo employees & shelter personnel for their help
and the Community for their support. We are pleased to announce that the Cocker Spaniel CORKY, and the Grey Tabby CARTER were adopted. Thanks to Bi-Lo for hosting the event!
In the future, any animal adopted from the Colleton County Animal Shelter will receive coupons from PETCO!!!! And, we have a new Non-profit organization for the Shelter called FoCCAS (Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter). We can be reached at foccas@lowcountry.com. ***NOTE: The shelter is need of the deep, divided food dishes. The ones currently on hand are chewed up and in poor condition. We can always use these things as well as everything found on our WISH LIST, which can be found at Petco, Walmart (in the pet dept.), and Bi-Lo. There is also a donation rack at Bi-Lo in the Pet Aisle. *****(This website is updated at least once weekly for recently adopted pets, and it is updated once every two weeks with photos of new animals that are up for adoption--Updated last on 10/18/09) PLEASE consider the benefits of adopting your next pet from a shelter and/or rescue, microchip and PLEASE spay or neuter your current pets.
