Our 2nd mobile adoption held at Petco was a great sucess!!
Thanks to our Volunteers & shelter employees for their help
and the Community for their support. We are pleased to announce that the cat ASTELLE, and the following dogs were adopted: CARL, DARLENE, CORKY, DIAMOND, BANDITA.
Thanks to Petco for their donation for each
adopted animal!! In addition, any animal adopted from the Colleton County Animal Shelter will receive a gift certificate from PETCO!!!! And, we have a new Non-profit organization for the Shelter called FoCCAS (Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter). We can be reached at foccas@lowcountry.com. ***NOTE: The shelter is need of leashes and collars. We have very few of these items on hand. For big ticket items, the shelter could use a scanner. We can always use these things as well as everything found on our WISH LIST, which can be found at Petco, Walmart (in the pet dept.), and Bi-Lo. There is also a donation rack at Bi-Lo by the front registers. *****(This website is updated at least once weekly for recently adopted pets, and it is updated once every two weeks with photos of new animals that are up for adoption--Updated last on 07/01/09) PLEASE consider the benefits of adopting your next pet from a shelter and/or rescue, microchip and PLEASE spay or neuter your current pets.
