Donations
The SPCA is always in need of the following items:
Towels, blankets, pet toys, brushes, dog and cat shampoo, dawn dish detergent, kitten/ puppy bottles, regular baby bottles, kitten milk, puppy milk, heating pads, and office supplies. Also, supplies for small animals such as rabbits are needed as well.
Volunteers Needed
It's that time again - with warm weather right around the corner - so is KITTEN SEASON. If you are interested in fostering mother cats and kittens, kittens that need to be bottle fed, or kittens that aren't old enough to go up for adoptions yet please call or come by the shelter. There is an application you need to fill out and you can speak with our staff.
We need Foster Parents! Foster homes provide temporary care for kittens or puppies that are not old enough for adoption. As well, adult dogs or cats are sometimes placed in foster care to recover from an illness or to overcome shyness. In all cases, foster parents provide love and shelter so that the animals in their care can go on to become beloved pets in an adoptive home. Please call the shelter if you have space, time and love to give to the homeless pets in our care.
Want to help the animals at the shelter? We need people to join our team of volunteers who walk dogs, bathe dogs and socialize puppies. If you are a cat lover, our kitties need some TLC too! Please call (648-6863) or vist the shelter to sign up for volunteer work, we can't take care of the animals without you!
