Harry and Dewey
Harry is a 10 year old black lab mix, and Dewey is an 8 year old yellow lab mix. Harry and Dewey are brothers who have lived together all of their lives, so we are trying to place these two brothers together. They are both just happy go lucky dogs! They are gentle, sweet, love to play with each other and are always happy to see you. If interested in adopting Harry and Dewey, please come into the shelter for a visit. The shelter is located at 10 Minturn Farm Road in Bristol, RI.
We take in stray dogs and cats, and if the owner does not claim the animal it becomes available for adoption. The shelter is run by Bristol's Animal Control Officers.
We have a large cat room for you to meet and play with your future companion, and a large kennel area for dogs.
We have a new volunteer group up at the shelter called
FRIEND'S OF THE BRISTOL ANIMAL SHELTER. Friends of the Bristol Animal Shelter is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization working to supplement the efforts of the Town of Bristol's no-kill Animal Care and Adoption Center. It is our mission to assist in providing a safe environment and emergency veterinary funding for the animals in their care until they find their forever homes. All donations can be sent to:
