We are an organization whose purpose is the prevention of cruelty to
animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education.
For the last 8 years we have been functioning on a no-kill basis. We are proud to be the first no-kill shelter in Rhode Island.
Adopting a friend
To adopt one of our
pets you must fill out an adoption application, return the application to our
office and arrange
for an adoption interview. If your application is approved, arrangements will
be made for you to pick up the pet and sign the adoption forms. Standard adoption
fees are $75.00 for a cat. All of our pets are spayed/neutered
and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. Our cats are tested for feline leukemia and aids.
