Our Featured Pet...
Frankie is approx 1-1 1/2 yrsold. She was found on a farm her in town, apparently dumped 4 days prior and unable to be caught by the farm owner. She is now here at the shelter safe and sound. Frankie will be spayed and vaccinated on 2/6/08. She is still a puppy and needs alittle coaxing as to what is right and wrong. She has been good on the leash and has learned sit, paw and for the most part - stay. Frankie does have alot of energy and would benefit from alot of exercise.
update 02/07/08
Frankie was already spayed before we had to do it (at lease someone at one time cared for her) - unfortunately she tested not only Lyme positive, but also heartworm positive and is in the midst of her 1st treatment. She will be released from the animal hospital shortly and will be put on several weeks of
R & R. Please give her the exta love and care she deserves.

Who We Are
We are a municipal shelter for the town of Warren. We take in stray dogs and sick or injured cats and try to find their owners. If an owner can't be found we offer the animal for adoption. We are not an owner turn in facility.
Adopting a friend
We are open Mon-Fri 730am-230pm and Sat and Sun 8am-3pm. If you call and leave a message, with your phone number, the animal control officer can call you back and arrange a special time at your convenience to view the animals, just call 401-245-4569. Most of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vacs, cats are leukemia tested and dogs are heartworm tested.
