About Us
The Pennsylvania Great Dane rescue currently adopts to homes throughout Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and the surrounding areas. Please contact us to see if we adopt to your specific area.
For each adoption of a Great Dane from the Pennsylvania Great Dane Rescue, the following steps must be completed:
Beginning May 1, 2012 the PA Great Dane Rescue will no longer be placing purebreed Great Danes into homes with children under the age of ten.
We encourage all of our adopters to contact the rescue's members if any problems arise with the adopted Great Dane.

If you are looking to adopt a Great Dane, you have come to the right place! The Pennsylvania Great Dane rescue is a Pittsburgh and Western PA based Great Dane rescue dedicated to the placement of Great Danes in a safe and caring home; matching carefully the needs of the Great Dane with the environment of the new owner. The volunteers in our rescue take our role very seriously and work closely with those who find it necessary to surrender their Great Danes for adoption. We adopt out a variety of Great Danes, including those that are of both pure and mixed breed, and of all ages. Please consider us when adopting your new best friend!
