Gwen was adopted a few months ago, and was sadly returned, not because she's a bad girl, just not the right fit :(
So she is looking again...and she is a beautiful, sweet girl, who deserves an amazing home! She is about 1 year old, and is a shepherd/husky/something mix...who is adorable!
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and is ready to go!!
Gwen is a high energy pup, who needs a high energy home to match! She is AMAZING with children - big and small...incredibly patient, and gentle, and would make a wonderful family pet! She absolutely loves other dogs too, and is very submissive and sweet with them...she just wants to play! So she would also do well in a home with another dog - she would actually prefer it!

Who We Are
Harley's Haven is a small rescue with a big mission: to save as many homeless dogs as possible! Every day so many dogs are put to sleep, even just in the city of Philadelphia, and every dog that we can find a wonderful home for is one less that will end up in the shelter. Help us save homeless dogs and ADOPT!!!

Adopting a friend
Our adoption process is simple...we have a pre-adoption form where we will check a vet reference and/or personal reference to make sure any current pets are up to date on vaccines and are spayed/neutered. The next step is a meeting with you and our adoption pup to see if they are a good fit, then we add in any kids or dogs. If that goes well, we have a foster period which is a test-run of how the dog does in the house with you, so if for any reason it's not working, they come right back! And if it does work, then you sign the official adoption paperwork! Our adoption fees vary from pet to pet, so will be discussed if you are interested in one of our available animals!

You are welcome to visit with our available dogs, but please call or email first to set up a visit! Most dogs will be in foster homes, so we need to make sure they're available to meet with you!
