Life to Live Rescue.
We are an ever-growing rescue group located in Scranton, PA and surrounding areas. We are a registered state non-profit orgnaization and are PA licensed. Our goal is to
save the lives of dogs by taking into rescue those who are scheduled for an untimely death due to the overcrowding of shelters. We rescue local dogs and also dogs from out-of-state. All shelter
dogs taken from out-of-state come from shelters that are PA import licensed. We accept purebred dogs and mixed breed dogs. Any dog whose life is in jeopardy will be considered if we have a
foster home that can take it in. Our motto is as follows:
"I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human
society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry. "God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for a moment and
then He spoke softly. "I have done something," He replied. "I created You." ~Jim Willis~
Unfortunately, our foster homes are never enough so the number of dogs that we can save is limited. If you would like to volunteer to help us save more dogs from euthanization by offering to
foster for us, please email and ask for a foster application. Or, even if you cannot foster but would like to help out, any and all help is very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an Adoption Application. We would be very happy to send you one
via email upon request.
Come Visit Us!
All of our rescue dogs are all in foster homes. We try to work on housetraining, socialization and any other issues that we come to find out a dog may have. Usually our dogs
are not available for adoption until they have been in foster for about two weeks and a proper evaluation has be done. An appointment can be made to meet our available dogs once an application
is approved and a home visit has been completed. Adoption fees vary depending on a number of factors but we do try to keep them reasonable.
