Guinea pigs. We have several guinea pigs that have been with us for some time now. We are looking for guinea pig savvy owners willing to give them a forever home.

1/22/12 We currently have: chinchillas, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, and red eared slider turtles that need loving homes!
We also have iguanas and snakes but they are only adopted out during area reptile shows. Next show: Hamburg, PA Feb 25

Who We Are
Ani-Care Animal Hospital is a full service exotic and small animal hospital that also functions as the Pennsylvania branch of Sean Casey Animal Rescue in NY. We are not a shelter and do not take in animals at our hospital. We only assist in the placement of these animals and therefore it make take a few days to process applications. Your patience through our adoption process is greatly appreciated. Visitations will only be scheduled with approved adopters.
Sean Casey Animal Rescue Mission Statement:
The purpose of this endeavor is to aid unfortunate animals in the interest of a higher quality of life. We take in rescued, confiscated, neglected, injured, ill, unmanageable, or otherwise unwanted animals from private owners, zoos, shelters, and other public organizations. These animals are cared for, and/or rehabilitated to the best of our ability and means until which time they can be found healthy, happy homes - whether it be through adoption to qualified candidates or legally released into habitats suitable to the specific species in conjunction with licensed wildlife rehabilitators. www.scarnyc.org

Some of the animals that end up at Sean Casey Animal Rescue are illegal to keep in NYC. We transport those animals to our facility and perform whatever surgery, treatment or rehabilitation they need and then try to find them good, loving homes. www.anicareanimalhospital.com
Adopting a friend
In order to adopt one of our special animals you must first submit an application. We are looking for the ideal permanent homes for our animals. Once your application has been reviewed you will be contacted regarding its status. If you are approved we will schedule you a visitation. If you find a good match we ask to see a current driver's license, fill out our adoption contract and pay a suggested adoption fee. (Adoption fees go directly back into the rescue to help cover costs of surgery, medication, food and supplies.) We typically prefer our approved adopters to come visit our animals by appointment Monday-Friday between 12:30-2:30pm, this is when we have exam rooms available for adopters to interact with our animals and pick the personalities that best suit their family's needs. We cannot accommodate walk-ins. If this time frame is not possible for your schedule, we will do our best to schedule another time, we don't want our animals to miss out on a great forever home!
