Who We Are
We are a small no-kill beagle rescue located in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA. All of our dogs are last-minute rescues saved from certain and imminent death in area high-kill pounds. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT DO NEGLECT OR HUMANE CONDITIONS INVESTIGATIONS. Every dog we take in is immediately spayed or neutered, given all necessary vaccinations, tested/treated for heartworm and other parasites and cared for in a loving foster home until an approved forever home is found. We do not have a shelter facility, all of our dogs are kept in foster homes where they are socialized and trained, so when you are ready to meet a dog, we will happily bring them to YOU! Adopting a friend
Our primary concern is for the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our care. Our adoption process includes a pre-adoption application, visit to your home with the dog(s) of your choice, an adoption contract and a modest adoption donation that helps us cover a small portion of our costs so that we can continue to help more homeless dogs. We work very hard to place our beagles in the best possible homes with the intention that none of our dogs ever experience homelessness, hunger or lonliness again.
