Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone.
If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.
Our Mission Statement
Habitat for Hounds was founded in 2002 to help alleviate the suffering of animals. We provide dog houses, straw, and emergency medical care to animals in need.
Who We Are
We are an all-volunteer organization which provides the following services to the animals of Cambria County PA because of donations from the public:
Wooden heavy-duty dog houses, warm straw bedding for winter, quality dog and cat food, cat litter, we often supply bowls and chains to make life better for the animals, emergency animal rescue, emergency vet care, life support/follow ups for animals hit by cars, removal of major tumors and repair of broken bones, treatments for serious eye infections, sterilization of dogs and cats where there is constant reproduction, animal placement assistance, limited animal fostering,and literature to the public on winter/summer care:sterilization: outside dogs.

If the animal has not been altered we require a $30.00 spay/neuter deposit. We do refund the deposit after your pet is spayed or neutered, and you have provided us with papers from the vet stating your pet has been surgically sterilized. We do charge a 50.00 adoption fee.
