Help Support Our Rescue Effort:
Before a Springer is placed, it is spayed or neutered, all shots are up to date and any medical problems are being addressed. Since we are a non-profit organization, we try to find ways to help ease the costs of the medical expenses of the dogs that come through us. MAESSR was formed in May of 1998 by admirers of the English Springer Spaniel breed. We've had many, many successes, and our share of loss and disappointment. Fortunately, with the help of our wonderful volunteers, other rescue organizations and those who have generously donated funds, we have grown and continue to thrive.
All dogs will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If for any reason, you are unable to continue to care for a dog adopted through MAESSR, the dog must be returned to us. No dog is to be turned into an SPCA, Humane Society, or other organization without the express consent of MAESSR.
When filling out the application, please include as much information as possible. Use the comments section to leave any information that will not fit in other areas, or that you feel will be helpful in finding the right Springer for your family.
If you have any problems accessing the on-line application or have other questions concerning your application, contact the Application Coordinator
While we do permit adoptions out of our area, our primary focus is on the Mid-Atlantic region of the
continental United States, including; New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina,
Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.
