BEFORE YOU APPLY
Please consider all aspects before applying to adopt a dog. Rescue dogs usually come with a few issues and we prefer applicants that have realistic expectations and dog experience. If you are first time dog owners and have small children, it is highly unlikely that we will approve your application.We prefer a physical fence in most cases but will consider this on a case by case basis.

To adopt one of our beautiful dogs you must first complete our online application.
We do require an interview (sometimes we do this by phone) and a home visit may be required. We only adopt dogs to families who will keep them as inside pets. if you aren't willing to work with your new rescue and let them get to know you at their own pace, please don't apply for one of our doodles. Returning a dog within 24-48 hours of picking it up is hard on the dog. Rescuing a dog is a lifetime commitment and if you give your all, you will get a great friend in return. They need time and patience.
Who We Are
IDOG Doodle Rehome/Rescue Resources is a program of the International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (IDOG.Biz) The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity group. IDOG has been rescuing doodles for 5 years now and we have rehomed over 1000 doodles in that time.
We are not affiliated with any other rescue group.
IDOG is an approved Rescue Partner in shelters across the country.
WE HAVE DOGS IN FOSTER HOMES ALL OVER THE CONTINENT - PLEASE SEE THE LOCATION LISTED IN THE DOG'S NAME. (for example "TX" before the name means that the dog is physically in the state of Texas)
In most instances, you will be required to live within driving distance of where the dog is located and to visit the dog in person.
WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT DOGS UNLESS THIS OPTION IS STATED ON THE LISTING.
Shipping is stressful on the dog, and stressful for the volunteer who has to spend hours preparing the dog and the paperwork. It is not simply a matter of paying the shipping charge. We only ship a dog if we cannot find it a home where it is. The hardest dogs to place are black males.
OUR ADOPTION DONATIONS RANGE FROM $200 - $425 depending on the dog. The fee is not negotiable
under 6 months $300 and up to $425
6 months to 2 years $250 and up to $400
2 years - 4 years $225 and up to $350
4 years + $200 and up to $300
HELP FOR FAMILIES WHO NEED TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR PET
IDOG RRR also provides assistance and support for people who need to find a new home for their family pet - our motivation is to get these dogs into homes that understand the temperaments and needs of these energetic, playful & loving dogs. Please email rescue@idog.biz for advice.Come Visit Us!
