Caroline was dropped at the SPCA and because of her size, about 12 pounds, she was not doing well in their very small cage at all. When we got her to the rescue, she turned out to be quite a friendly, well mannered and very regal girl, like a princess. So we named her Caroline. She is sweet but holding her can be a little intimating due to her size. She will lay on your lap, or beside your lap if you are small , and loves to share the couch with you especially when you are giving her lots of head rubs! She does love to dig in her litter box but using a covered box with a flap takes care of any kicked mess. She will not due well in a standard rabbit cage because she is so big. Free roam is ideal but a large x-pen or a large to extra large breed dog crate with a large x-pen attached would be perfect for Caroline. Caroline does like her toys and accessories so a bigger living area is better for her. If you like large pets, then Caroline is the big lovable bunny for you. She is estimated to be about 1 to 1.5 years old. She is very friendly and exceptionally good when free to roam, always returning to her litter box for potty habits. The only time Caroline digs in her potty box is when she is bored or caged so if you would like a full time free roam house rabbit, Caroline is the pet for you. She could use some extra excerize too, she is a bit pudgy but like Garfield claims to be undertall. You can see her pictures on the website.

Who We Are
Luv-N-Bunns is a new name for an experienced group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue of rabbits from local shelters. We are committed to spaying and neutering all rabbits prior to adoption and rehabilitating rabbits that have been traumatize or abused. Luv-N-Bunns will match the bunny's personality with that of a loving family that understands their needs. Our goal is to educate the public that House Rabbits are not Wild Rabbits and cannot survive in the wild. Luv-N-Bunns works with other rabbit rescue groups and the Bunderground Railroad.
Luv-N-Bunns works with rabbit owners anywhere to answer your questions about your bunny regardless of where you got him. We want to make your experience with a House Rabbit a wonderful and rewarding one.
