Who We Are
Four Footed Friends Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, established in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, in 1982. We are a “no-kill” shelter dedicated to the care, well-being, and placement of homeless, abused, and injured animals. FFF receives no state, federal, or local governmental funding, but relies strictly on your support to continue our work.
Best of all, by adopting from Four Footed Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for?
You can help FFF help animals by ADOPTING, VOLUNTEERING, and DONATING to our cause.
At Four Footed Friends, we believe:
Dogs and cats should NOT be euthanized simply because they do not have homes
Our companion animals deserve to live healthy, happy lives
Our motto: “Every animal has the right to live without abuse, and die without inflicted pain.”
Services to the Public
Sheltering & finding homes for orphan/abandoned animals

Promoting spaying/neutering of pets to control the tragedy of overpopulation

Adopting a friend
ADOPTION of a shelter pet is always the best “option”! Overpopulation is a tragedy: three to four million dogs and cats in the U.S. are euthanized each year simply because no one wants them. Adopting is one of the most cost-effective ways to get a healthy, well-socialized pet. Our adult animals are already spayed or neutered -- but our fees are less than you’d pay a veterinarian to do the operation. We also pay for each pet’s food, shelter, and vaccinations during the entire time the animal is with us. And, each adoption will open up a space for the next dog or cat who needs a safe haven. So invite a loving, devoted shelter animal into your family today!
