Our Featured Dog is Zoe!

Please meet Zoe!!! Zoe is a gorgeous purebred mini Dachshund with a beautiful dapple coat. She is around 2-3 years old and was brought in to a shelter in philly with her best friend Dixie by her owner who said they were moving and could not bring them. They are absolutely the sweetest dogs. They are good with other dogs, very affectionate with people, crate trained, amazing dogs. The previous owner stated that they have lived with children. They are up to date with their vaccines and they are spayed and micro-chipped. Zoe is a little bit smaller, she weighs 11 lbs. If interested in these little gems, please fill out our screening form below. We would love to keep them together. Thanks!

Happy Tails Rescue is NOT A SHELTER! Our dogs are all in foster homes where we can assess their temperament to make the best match with our potential adopters! 100% of all donations and adoption fees goes directly to the care of our rescue dogs.

How to adopt

If you see an animal that you like you must fill out our screening form, be sure to mention the number and/or name of the animal. All potential adopters MUST fill out an application. NO HOLDS WILL BE GIVEN WITHOUT AN APPROVED APPLICATION. The rescue reserves the right to deny adoptions. The animals will be placed in the best possible environment for the animals. PERSONAL AND VET REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED AND WILL BE CHECKED.

Our Mission

The Happy Tails Rescue Group is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals by having a strict Spay and Neuter policy. Over 9,000 cats and dogs are euthanized in U.S. shelters every day because there are not enough homes for them all. Spaying and Neutering not only helps control the over-population problem but it is also much healthier for your pet, virtually eliminating the chances that your dog will get Mammary, Testicular or Prostate Cancer if altered early enough. However, any time is the right time to Spay and Neuter! In accordance with our strict Spay and Neuter policy, the Happy Tails Rescue will not adopt to anyone who has an un-altered animal unless there is a medical explanation from a veterinarian.

Who We Are

WE NEED FOSTER HOMES! We are an all foster volunteer rescue group and we need help in finding these animals homes. We desperately need foster homes. The animals really thrive when they get into a home environment which helps us to better match them with propective families. We provide the medical care and you provide the love! If interested in fostering please contact happytailsrescuepa@gmail.com
