Who We Are
Our rescue is a 501 (c) (3) operating in memory of Pal. Pal was a blind brittany who entered a kill shelter as a stray. I was a volunteer and it was love at first sight. He sat in a kennel for 20 days and I was determined that on Christmas Eve if no one had adopted him that he was coming home with me. He was part of our family for 9 months until he got very ill. He was always there for me. Despite being blind he learned our house quickly and was one of my best walking partners. At Fern Hollow Farm we try to save dogs like Pal. The ones that are in trouble from being euthanized because there are so many without homes. We want the people who adopt from us to experience the joy and love that a pet can bring into your life.
Adopting a friend
A pet is a friend for life. There is a screening process to go through before you adopt from us. Our adoption fees range from $100.00-$400.00. We will not adopt over 1 1/2 hour travel time outside of Lancaster County.
Come Visit Us!
All of our dogs are in foster homes because we do not have a physical shelter. You will need to make an appointment with us to see any of them. We do appreciate donations such as crates, bowls, food, collars, leashes, toys, blankets, and anything else appropriate for our rescue dogs. Thank you.
