Who We Are
Appalachian Cat Rescue helps homeless cats and kittens by providing foster care, food, medical attention and most of all LOVE, until they are placed in a permanent, caring home.
OUR BELIEFS:
• Every cat and kitten deserves a home.
• Having a pet is a privilege, not a right.
• Strays are a community issue, yes, it is your problem.
• Spaying and neutering is crucial to solving this problem!
• Surgical claw removal is often unnecessary.

Adopting a friend
Visit our cats and kittens at one of our foster homes. Please contact us at 717-465-0183 to set up an appointment.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be 21 or older
• Must agree to provide necessary vet care (yearly vaccinations and provide other medical care if needed)
• Must agree to spay/neuter at 6 months of age (if not already done)
• Must have a cat carrier at the time of adoption
• Must return cats to Appalachian Cat Rescue in the case of an unresolvable problem
ADOPTION FEE:
• $60.00/kitten (in addition to returnable spay/neuter deposit).
• Second kitten is 1/2 price.
• $75.00 (already spayed/neutered)
ALL CATS RECEIVE:
• FeLV/HIV
• Complete Physical
• Initial Vaccinations
• Treatment for Parasites (Fleas, ticks, etc.)
• De-worming
• Spayed/Neutered (if six months of age)
• Rabies vaccination (if spayed/neutered)
