Who We Are
WE ARE A 501(C)3 NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO RESCUING HORSES BOUND FOR SLAUGHTER. WE RESCUE HORSES THAT ARE GOING TO BE SHIPPED TO TEXAS AND ILLINOIS OR CANADA TO BE BRUTALLY SLAUGHTERED FOR THE DINNER PLATES OF HUMANS IN EUROPE, ASIA, FRANCE AND OTHER COUNTRIES.
Adopting a friend
Due to the high number of inquiries we are listing our policy on adoption, our adoption requirements and (soon to be) a link to our adoption application!
We place NO RESTRICTIONS on the use of our horses, so long as the adopter provides a safe haven for our horses and will take care to properly feed, shelter and provide proper veterniary care when needed. The adopter will also have regular farrier care and yearly dental care, in addition to a regular worming program.
We DO transfer complete ownership of our horses...which means the adopter is free to (if appropriate for each horse) in addition to trail & pleasure riding, show, breed, sell, train, event, jump, lease or otherwise provide a second career.
The adopter is NOT ALLOWED TO RACE or SEND TO AUCTION ANY of our HORSES.
We require each prospective adopter to fill out an application prior to adopting a horse. We follow up several times within the first month to make sure things are working out well for both horse and adopter.
We also ask that each adopter sends us a yearly update with pictures and a brief note.
