Montgomery County SPCA - Abington Branch
A list of animals at all three of our facilities (Conshohocken, Perkiomenville and Abington) may be found here.
The SPCA is not just a shelter for homeless animals. It is an educational orgainzation offering school children lessons in humane animal care. The SPCA also has Humane Society Police Officers. These officers investigate complaints of mistreated animals and issue correction notices and file charges of cruelty to animals as necessary.
But we cannot do it alone. We need everyone's help. Our goal is to put a stop to animal abuse. Please contact us if you see an animal in distress or in poor conditions. We will investigate. If you are a teacher, call our Humane Educator (610-825-0111 ext 34) for a program for your students.
Public awareness toward the proper care of animals and the need of new homes tor them is vital to our goal of finding homes for these wonderful, but temporarily displaced pets. Donations are also always welcome. Every year 14,000 animals are helped by the Montgomery County SPCA. This is only done through the donations we receive and the awareness of our citizens of the needs of these animals.

Who We Are
The Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for unwanted, lost and abused domestic animals.
Established in 1909 and chartered in 1916, the Montgomery County SPCA (in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania), has three locations. The Conshohocken facility houses the administrative offices as well as small domestic animals. The Perkiomenville facility includes a pet cemetery and horse farm along with facilities for small animals. Our newest facility for small domestic animals is in Abington.
