Forgotten Felines & Fidos, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) registered, No-Kill organization in the Greater Lehigh Valley founded in 1994. The mission of Forgotten Felines and Fidos is to help feral cats, an often-ignored portion of the feline community. We provide a safe haven for threatened, abused, and/or homeless animals until they are adopted, or shelter them for the rest of their lives if necessary. Besides food, water, and shelter, we provide medical care for the sick and injured, spaying/neutering for adults, and a nurturing environment for all. In addition we educate feral colony caretakers and the general community about the humane treatment of feral cats and the need for spaying and neutering.
An adoption form is required to adopt from us. There is a minimum $40.00 adoption donation. All cats/kittens must be in a carrier. By signing our adoption form, you are agreeing to keep the cat indoors. You are also required to have all the shots kept up to date. If for some reason the adoption doesn't work out, we always take our animals back. At, times we will post a cat on our Petfinders site as a private adoption. This will be clearly noted with the animals information. FFF will not be involved with the adoption process. The current owner and potential adopter will agree on the terms of the adoption. FFF does not make any representation or guarantees pertaining to the private adoption.
Here's an easy way for us to earn a few dollars for our forgotten felines!
Don't throw away empty ink jet and laser cartridges. We're participating in the "Cash for Critters" program. "Cash for Critters" is a fundraising program in which FFF will collect empty ink jet and laser printer cartridges, and submit them for cash! We'll also be helping the environment by having fewer cartridges in the landfills.
Please refer to their website (www.cashforcritters.com) for a list of acceptable cartridges (there are a few which can't be accepted--especially if they've already been recycled).
In addition, if you order supplies from netsupplies.com, we can be designated as the charity to receive the proceeds. This site offers lower cost printer supplies so you'll save cash and we'll earn some!
At this time, our shelter is open to the public only on Saturdays. Please call the shelter at (610) 760-9009 to schedule a visit at other times.
