Adoption Policy

Community Cat Network requires an adoption application be completed before meet and greets are scheduled. You can complete the application even if you do not have a pet in mind yet. Your application will be reviewed and approved/denied. You will be notified of approval/denial via email within one week of application. A meet and greet at the foster's home is typical, and a home check (in person or virtually) can be required prior to adoption. You will also be required to sign an adoption contract. Adopters must be at least 18 years of age to apply. We prefer adopters are 21 years of age or older, but exceptions can be made. We do not adopt to anyone outside of Pennsylvania and do restrict adoptions to people residing in Western PA.
