Neglect, suffering, and death often occur through ignorance rather than intentional cruely. One of our goals is to provide the new or potential horse owner the proper education for basic horse care.
LCR has saved many horses from slaughter. Some have needed special care, veterinary help, basic TLC, rehabilitation, or, sometimes just time to heal. LCR provides vet care, farrier care, nourishing foods, rest and most importantly, lots of love. Our horses have gone on to new ways of life that include riding, driving, showing, therapy, and overall companions to all.
Please report any abuse or neglect situations to the ASPCA, Humane Society, or your local police.
From Points South: Take Rt309 North until the intersection of RT 313. Turn right onto 313. From this point, follow directions from above.PLEASE call or email for an appointment. We are an all volunteer rescue and want to be sure all of your questions are answered and your needs met while you are here. The best way to do that is to be prepared for your arrival.
