Pacific Pug Rescue is a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to taking in Pugs and Pug mixes from Oregon and Southwest Washington that have been abandoned at shelters, found as strays or turned in by their owners. Pugs in our care live in foster homes while they are waiting to be adopted. During their stay with a foster family they are provided with much love and attention, as well as any necessary medical care including spaying/neutering, routine vaccinations and a microchip.
PPR is the companion animal’s advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog’s general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
Adopting a friend
The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a phone interview, a home visit, and a lifetime adoption contract. If placement does not work out for any reason, the dog must be returned to PPR per the adoption contract. The adoption donation usually ranges from $100.00-$400.00 depending on the dog’s age and medical condition. The adoption donations help offset medical treatment, food, grooming and other financial responsibilities fostering. If you interested in one of our dogs and would like an adoption application please see our website at www.pacificpugrescue.org
