ARKOregon Animal Services

Our Pet List

Who We Are

ARKOregon is a resource organization serving the Pacific Northwest to help families in need find homes for animals that they can no longer keep due to unfortunate circumstances like terminal illness or financial crisis. We do "open adoptions" so the previous owner and new owner can stay in touch for the welfare of the animal.

We also assist families with spay & neuter of domestic pets and encourage proper identification of pets through microchipping. We offer education within the communities of Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion and Clark counties through education in regard to animal behavior, obedience and proper nutrition. As well as resources in specific areas of expertise.

Our greatest hope is to see the killing of homeless pets a thing of the past. Please join us in praying for this nation that God can work a miracle in touching the hearts of pet owners for better responsibility in caring for His precious little four-legged creatures.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting a cat or dog, please check out our available adoptable pets.

Be a Volunteer!

One Sunday a month we hand out animal food for the pets in the care of the homeless on the streets of Portland. We start at 2 pm and end at 4 pm if you'd like to help! We'd like to thank the PetCo Warehouse Facility and the Woodson family in Hillsboro for assisting with transporting all the donated food to help families in need.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
