Who We Are

The Lincoln County Animal Shelter is a division of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The Lincoln County Animal Shelter's mission is to provide a safe haven for lost, abandoned and unwanted animals; educating the public, and protecting public safety and animal welfare by enforcing Oregon's anti-cruelty and dog control laws.

Adopting a Friend

Animal listings are updated approximately once a week so listings will not include new pets or recent adoptions. To confirm the most current information, call or visit the shelter. Please email us or try to contact during business hours.

To adopt, complete our adoption application for approval. If you rent, we also require landlord approval prior to adoption.

All Adoptions Include:
  • A free veterinarian check-up with any of the Lincoln County Veterinarians
  • A vaccination - distemper for cats / distemper-parvo for dogs
  • Dogs only - a free puppy tag (good until 6 months of age) or a free dog license for the first year (rabies vaccination and altering certificate needed)
  • *ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER ARE REQUIRED TO BE ALTERED.
