SafeHaven Humane Society
Finding Homes, Opening Hearts, Educating Minds
Who We Are:
SafeHaven Humane Society is a non-profit, privately funded, limited admission shelter, that does not use euthanasia for population control. We receive no funding from the city, county, state or federal government to operate. Donations from you keep our doors open to the over 1,000 animals we take in and adopt out each year. Thank You!
We help our communities' residents be the best "humane" beings they can be by providing: Compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia, for population control.
Adopting a Friend:
Once accepted, we become responsible for the animals we take in for the duration of their stay with us. This includes providing for the animals basic needs such as routine and sometimes special veterinary care, spaying and neutering, food, and shelter. We also work very hard to provide a loving and caring environment for our animals while they are with us. We strive to find permanent loving homes for all the dogs and cats in our care.
Fees vary, dogs start at $100; puppies start at $200; cats start at $65; kittens start at $85. For more information on all that is included in our adoption fees please visit our website for more detailed information.
