Who We Are:
SafeHaven Humane Society is unlike most any other animal welfare organization. Our “No-Kill” philosophy, programs, and facility are all designed to promote a friendly adoption environment, reduce pet overpopulation, and to strengthen the human /pet bond.
We care for and adopt out almost 1,000 dogs and cats per year.
Our Mission:
We help our communities' residents be the best "humane" beings they can be by providing: Compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia, for population control.
Adopting a Friend:
Once accepted, we become responsible for the animals we take in for the duration of their stay with us. This includes providing for the animals basic needs such as routine and sometimes special veterinary care, spaying and neutering, food, and shelter. We also work very hard to provide a loving and caring environment for our animals while they are with us. We strive to find permanent loving homes for all the dogs and cats in our care.
Adoption Fees: Fees vary, dogs start at $90; cats start at $65. For more information on all that is included in our adoption fees please visit our website for more detailed information.
