NEXT ADOPTION EVENT: FRIDAY, MAY 25TH (from 3pm until 7pm) at the Wilsonville Petsmart . * (Dogs in attendance 5/25/12) Stop by between 3pm and 7pm and you can meet some of our amazingly awesome dogs! Dogs on our attendance list will be: Johnny, Lexi, Dreamer, Gertie, Kaytee, Ozzie, Bianca, Millie, Anna, Theodore, Duchess, Louie, Billy, Gus and Ginger. Let us know if there's a dog you'd like to meet who is not on this list (we can see if their foster mom can bring them along too)!
Who We Are
Willamette Animal Rescue is a no-kill, entirely volunteer run organization. We are a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation (if you would like to donate please ask us for our tax id number). Currently we are foster home based and we primarily focus on local hard to place dogs and dogs from overcrowded shelters. We are in the process of opening a facility and will hopefully open our doors by June 2012!

-Dog Food (wet and dry); we feed our dogs food free of corn, wheat and soy
-Crates and Kennels
-Toys and Chews (our pups love Kongs and Nylabones!)
Adopting a friend
Since we are foster home based we are unable to arrange a meeting until we've received and approved an adoption application. This policy is for the safety of our foster parents and enables us to find the best possible home for our adoptable dogs.
To obtain an adoption application please visit the link below or email a request to willametteanimalrescue@gmail.com . Upon receiving the attached application completely fill out the form and email it back (Incomplete applications will not be reviewed). You will hear back from a Willamette Animal Rescue representative within 7 days. If your application is selected a veterinary reference check and home visit are mandatory.

I have read the above information carefully and have filled out this application honestly. I understand that omission of information and/or failure to answer all questions and sign the application can result in this application being declined. Also, if an omission or untruth is discovered after an adoption takes place, I understand that Willamette Animal Rescue reserves the right to annul the adoption and reclaim the animal. I give WAR permission to fully investigate the information provided as well as contact veterinarians and related officials. If the application passes this review, I agree to a home and yard visit on a mutually agreed date by a WAR volunteer before an adoption decision is made.
In addition, I understand the adoption decision is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to the compatibility of the family and home to the individual animal, and other applications received on this animal. I understand it is WAR’S prerogative to decide which home is most appropriate and that their decision is final, and therefore I will not argue with the decision. Unless otherwise indicated by WAR, I am free to apply and undergo the application process in the future.
