Oregon Dog Rescue is a IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit. Your donation is fully tax deductible. Give us a call any time if you have cash or supplies you would like to donate. We will give you a receipt for tax purposes. We are currently looking for donors who would like to contribute on a monthly basis. Oregon Dog Rescue is now accepting dogs into our foster care program. We would be happy to communicate with you in regard to our services. We are also looking for a few good foster homes! Being a foster parent is a rewarding endeavor. You will feel like you have touched the life of not only a trusting canine but also the lives of the people who adopt these dogs. All foster homes are provided with food, crate, medications (if necessary), toys and any other items the dog may need. Call or e-mail today for more information and an appointment to meet with you!
Oregon Dog Rescue is a collaboration of rescue volunteers who are dedicated to the well-being of dogs put into our care as well as maximizing the potential for a successful adoption for every dog! We accomplish this by carefully observing the dogs in our care and building a plan that will give the dog the tools and confidence to fit into a relationship that will benefit both dog and owner. We provide helpful information and training to new owners to help with the transition of dog and owner. We are determined to stay in touch with our adopters to insure a positive outcome for all.
Our adoption criteria may vary depending on the dog's needs, however, some basic requirements are: All dogs must be house dogs. No "outdoor" dogs or "garage" dogs. No protection dogs or dogs trained for aggression. No third party adoptions. No shipping of dogs or adoptions outside a two and a half hour car drive radius of Portland, OR
Our dogs are in foster homes. Please contact the phone number or e-mail address listed with each dog to ask questions. We will be at the Nyberg Woods PetSmart in Tualatin Saturdays 11-5. Come out I-5, exit 289, we are just east of the freeway!
