We're Lane County's only 501(c)3, no kill ferret shelter and rescue. If you have a ferret in need of help in the Southern Oregon/Northern California area, we'll do what ever we can for it. If you need to relocate or surrender a ferret, whether it is a pet or one you found, call us and let's see if we can help you. We do offer free pick up of ferrets around Eugene, Oregon, and we don't charge a surrendering fee. All ferrets are housed in a home environment at the shelter. We are an emergency rescue for sick, injured, abused, healthy, abandoned, homeless, lost, and found ferrets.

Ferret Out A Friend!
All ferrets receive a complete check up, including vaccinations if needed, and are tested & treated for any internal & external parasites. We will not split up cage mates or bonded pairs that come in; any groups or pairs must be adopted together.
If you adopt one of our ferrets and find for what ever reason you are unable to keep it, you must bring the pet back to the shelter. If you return the pet(s) within two (2) weeks of adoption, then 100% of your adoption fee will be refunded back to you. All adoptions are done by appointment only.
Before you consider an adoption ask yourself:
Can I provide this pet with a forever home?
Do I know what all it takes to give this pet a proper home?
Can I afford the price of high quality food, vet care & vaccines the pet will need throughout its life, potentially 10 years?
Am I willing to make this pet a family member to live in my home not in my yard or garage?
We do reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone if we feel it's not in the best interest of you or the pet.
If you surrender a ferret to us, we will need the pet's name, what food he/she has been eating, and if he/she has had any vaccines in the last 12 months. Also, you will be asked to fill out a history about your ferret(s) including what he/she likes and dislikes or any medical needs. This way we can get him/her the best veterinary treatment and home possible.
Wanting To Adopt?
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets on this site, please call (541) 484-1090 for a phone interview. When the phone interview is done, you may be invited to visit the shelter to find out if you would make a good "ferret parent."
