Gringo
Meet Gringo!
If you are looking for a big, handsome, sweet, and loving lap cat, Gringo may be the boy for you.
When Gringo was first noticed hanging out on the front porch of his foster home, we thought he was feral. It took a couple of months before we could touch him, but once he began to trust us, it quickly became apparent that he once had a home.
After being brought inside to live, there was no turning back for Gringo. He made it very clear to us that he was quite happy to be a house cat and immediately made himself at home sleeping on the bed and hanging out with the other cats. Gringo now has the confidence you would expect from a boy his size, and it is hard to imagine he was once that timid, frightened stray sleeping on the front porch.
These days, everyone is Gringo’s friend - whether they be human or feline. He loves to be picked up and held, and will lie happily in your arms while looking into your eyes as if he is saying how much he adores you.
If you are looking for a friend for your current cat family, Gringo would make a great companion. Although he has not been dog-tested, we think he would do well with a cat-friendly dog.
Gringo was born in March 2007. He has been neutered, has tested negative for FIV and FELV and is up to date on his vaccines.
