The Fort Frances Friends of Animals is a private, non-profit organization, dedicated to providing care and shelter to the numerous unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals in the Rainy River District.
Our primary goal is to continue our efforts in developing our current shelter facility to house the numerous homeless and unwanted pets in our Adopt-A-Pet Program.
Operating our own independent shelter gives us the ability to provide a higher level of care for the homeless animals who so desperately need our help and compassion.
Adopting a friend
The main goal of our Adopt-A-Pet Program is to find loving and responsible homes for our adoptive animals. To ensure that your adoption is successful, it is very important that you are matched with a pet that is compatible with your specific situation and lifestyle. Such "matchmaking" requires knowledge of our potential adopters, so we ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire.
